Front View of Steele's condo
This is what you see when you walk out the front door. We got back here to Sue and Art's condo around 9 pm last night. It was good to get out of that truck. We had to drive a ways in CA and those roads are rough.....wow, bumpy, bumpy ride.
Today is yet another fantastic day of sunshine although a bit windy and chilly. Mike and I went out for a good brisk walk and it was tough b/c of all the hills. Mike and Art then headed out to golf at the new Arnold Palmer golf course here where they have a special on Mondays and Tuesdays. They were pretty indecisive at first b/c of the cool wind but as I pointed out, I have seen Mike golf in much more adverse conditions in Michigan! What is up with a little cool wind? Was he REALLY going to pass up a chance to play golf b/c of a little wind? Ha ha!! But they did go........and had a good time. The views were absolutely beautiful and the homes, well, what can I say? They are on a golf course.....duh!!! The course was magnificent and the golfers were "marginal" (Art's actual words). It was a good deal and they played in

This is the other side of the pool. I love the little fountains. less than four hours! In fact Sue and I got back from our shopping spree AFTER they did!!! We gave our arthritis a good workout walking about. We also gave Maitland, the GPS, a good round of directions!!! We found a good 99 cent store complete with people w/ stinky hair. Wow......
Art made his famous Chicken Stoup--combination of stew and soup w/ chicken meatballs and gnocci! Delicious. I am giving him a night off tomorrow and am going to make my veggie lasagne with a salad.
I took some more pictures of Sue's place. The pics do NOT do it justice.

Glad you guys had a good drive back. We had a really nice time seeing you. Hope your travels continue to be fun. Thanks Kath for fixing my computer meltdown! I finally got the camera pics downloaded and there were some good ones! I will forward them to you via e-mail. Have fun and keep the blog entries coming!
