Day 5 Las Vegas

Last day in Vegas. Got up quite early this morning as we were jumping on the 7am bus to the airport to catch a plane to the Grand Canyon. We finally boarded our flight at 10am (alot of sitting around) and flew for an hour to Grand Canyon Airport in the state of Arizona. We arrived to see white snow beneath us.

After been told to rug up with layers, it wasn’t too bad after all and we just got around in a warm jumper and no jacket. We jumped on a coach that took us to two points of the canyon on the south rim. Attached are a few photos. It was spectacular, but we got over it fairly quickly. Not really our thing but it was good to go and say we have been there.

We flew home after again waiting some more and arrived back at Vegas and at our Casino at 3.30pm. This was our last avo in Vegas so we tried to finish off the things we hadn’t done yet.

We watched a few circus acts that were free on at our casino Circus Circus. Very flexible people!!! See attached

We then moved onto the strip and visited the Bellagio (where Oceans 11 was filmed). It was quite nice and had a water show out the front to music every 15 minutes. See photo. We then moved onto Caesars Palace which was huge. There were so many statues and marble inside, it was very flash.

We then moved onto The Mirage which was also nice with nice plants inside. I left Benn here with $50 to win back some money. I went back down the strip to visit the m&m and coke store one more time. I got back and Benn had lost his money again. So we are down $110 on our gambling in Vegas.

We left The Mirage and watched a pirate show out the front of Treasure Island and then went to the Stratosphere to watch our last Vegas show. We went to a show called Bite about showgirls and vampires and stuff.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY
Well it is the 6th here today so HAPPY BIRTHDAY Sez. Sounds like you are having an awesome time. Can't believe you got over the grand canyon quickly. It looks unbelievable. Its been so hot in Melbourne 35 the last few days, hopefully get cooler weather soon (and rain). Nanna said to say Happy Birthday too!!
