Crossing the boarder
16th Together with a group of friends which I met from the European tour I hired a car and set off for Scotland. First stop was in Stafford which was very expensive but it was late at night and we had no choice.
17th saw us get through to Edinburgh where we stayed at a hostel called Belford. This really did turn out to be a strange experience as the hostel was in an old church. The rooms comprised of 3 bunk beds with thin half finished walls and plastic sheeting stapled over the top to create a makeshift roof, there was a small heater in one corner to try to take the chill off the room. (It did a fairly good job) However the show was to begin late in the night, around 3am when screams were to be heard, upon investigation it was apparent that there was a young man in his early 20’s screaming repeatedly on the top of his lungs obscenities as though he was mentally ill or possessed by a daemon…, this went on for around an hour and a half, till the paramedics and police came. The man was then handcuffed and escorted out of
