The gang
Group shotToday was mostly spent visiting Edinburgh castle, Afterwards I found a shop that could trace back your family name to find out the tartan pattern the clan used so I checked up on Edwards and Cunningham. Later on that day we discovered there were some tours of the older haunted parts of Edinburgh - these places are known as the Vault and the Blare street cemetery. So we made a plan to visit this tonight. Meeting time was set to 9:30pm. With some time on our hands we went to dinner at a local Chinese restaurant. There were a couple of German travelers at the hostel in our dorm that seemed nice so we invited them to come to dinner and join us on the haunted tour afterwards. Dinner was pretty average but still no complaints by anyone. Come 9:15 the German girls decided to come on the haunted tour with us so we sped to the meeting point as fast as possible and checked into the tour. The tour unfortunately was not as intense as expected but still very entertaining and I found that it was just good to be able to say that I have been, seen and survived

After the tour our now growing group wandered around a little before finding ourselves sitting in a local bar, the bar didn’t seem to be “happening” so I decided to grab a bottle of coke and go back to the hostel to mix with a bottle of scotch we already had. We arrived back at the hostel however we were informed that we couldn’t hang out in the chill out room so we went back to the dorms and talked for a while before laughing ourselves to sleep.
