Today I got up early to move rooms and get a start on my day. There was a few things i wanted to do before I left Sydney (this time) and I hope to get as many, free ones, done as possible.
I left the hostel at about 9:45am heading towards the Port Jackson (Sydney Harbour). I was very determined to have breakfast or lunch..perhaps "Brunch" in view of the Opera House and the Bridge. Once I got there I scoped a good place out to eat where I would be able to see both. I paid my $8.50 for a sandwich and pop and had a good sit-down, and just pretty much watched the next 45mins to an hour go by. Sitting there looking our at Circular Quay I decided I wanted to go explore more of the Rocks area and also walk across the bridge to the other side. I took a few more pictures of the opera house and started my adventure towards the bridge (too much to say about all the little stops along the way, just look at the pix).
Once I finally got up on to the bridge I got to see the city
from a little bit better angle. It was such a perfect day....warm, sunny, and just the right amount of wind to keep you slightly cool. When I got to the pillar I paid my 9.00 fee and went to the top. It was kind of like a little museum about how the bridge was constructed, and how much time and effort when into it. At the top I got a fantastic view of city. I took many many pictures....and some video. When I was done there I finished my walk across the bridge. On the North side it was completely different then the other. It was much more "less busy" and seems to be a bit more relaxed. It was a start to more of a residential area, but still had enough business around to just go well. I walked under the bridge, snapped some more pix, then continued on to Lunar Park.....Very similar to Upper Clements Park back home, just much smaller.
I decided after walking an extreme amount of KMs that Id take the train back into town. I got off one stop early to get a decent feed of chicken from KFC, then continued to walk the
rest of the way home.
That has been pretty much my day...It lasted for a good 5+ hours..and I did manage to get a nice facial/neck burn along the way. Don't worry mom, its just a little red, I got the aloe to it ASAP. HAHA
Next time you'll hear from me I'll be writing from the center of OZ....the only place close to all the beaches, but with out water in sight.
CHEERS,
Tyler
SORRY I COUDL ONLY ADD ONE VIDEO....SOMETHIGN WRONG WITH THE WEBPAGE...I'LL ADD THE OTHERS LATER

awesome pics
Hey, you took some great pictures. Luna Park looks a little freaky, I'm not a big fan of the whole clown idea. I like the hanging lantern things, they look neat. I'm glad to see that you made the most of your last day in Sydney and hope Alice Springs brings you another great adventure :) Miss you tons. --Ash
