Some Castle in Swansea
We have arrived in Dublin at long last. But, the journey was fun and that's all that matters. We stopped for a while in Swansea, Wales. The pound buys so much more there, we felt rich! Charles and I wandered the docks there for a while and then got a bite in a pub. To get to the women's restroom, you had to go up several flights of stairs, down winding hallways and around and around and around. I hope no one had to go too badly. After waiting in the cold train station for a while, we decided to hit another pub. It was filled with misfits and scoundrels of all sorts. We loved it. The second we opened the door the place went silent and all eyes were on us. We eventually caught the train from Swansea to Fishguard and from there a ferry to Rosslare. We finally got a few hours sleep...it felt so great!!! Our ferry was late arriving so we missed our train to Dublin and had to wait in the train station for 5 hours! After waiting for what seemed like forever, we discovered a beach nearby. We had a lot of fun there. And

Charles had his way with a jelly fish. In the station, we met a couple from Ohio and rode with them. I got my butt kicked at hearts. We finally arrived in Dublin and went to get our money changed, only to find out that the banks were closed until Tuesday! But, eventually were able to get it changed. We showered in the hostel and went to dinner with our new friends. I got some bangers and mash...mmmmm! Back at the hostel, Charles hada lively debate with some of the people in my room, while I hung out with what seemed like a rep from every country in the world. We're off to go roam Dublin. Adios.
