Ping Pong Show Sir!!!

Made it to our last country, where we will be spending nearly 2 months. Flew into Bangkok and headed straight for Khoa San Road where all the backpackers head and its pretty packed!! We are actually staying on the street, which gets closed off at night and is packed with bars restaurtants and stalls where you can bargain hard to get a good price, although nothings really gonna cost more than 4 quid!!! Getting that extra 5p off though is satisfying, although manda paid over the odds for a fan. I told her to stick to 40 Baht max she paid 80, the shop keeper stard at 90baht!! Last time I let her bargain anything, she goes up instead of down.

Visited the Grand Palace and headed downtown both using the obat service!! We are off to Krabi today via a 16 hour train and coach journey for some more beach life after nearly two weeks in cities our tans need some treatment!!!

Manda won't go to the ping pong shows, no matter how much i tell her they are educational and artistic, and you should see her face when the guys on the street say ping pong show madam!!! Disgust!!

Our first boat trip!!
You have to be quick to catch the ferry boats, i got on with manda 2 metres behind and it left, she could have jumped for it but she wasn't brave enough!! So i had to get off and get the boat back!! I got told off!!

Beer in a petrol Station
On one of our first nights we stumbled across a petrol station that was also a bar, so we sat down inbetween the pumps candle on the table!!!! Thai safety laws genious!!! Wonder if Mr Shell knows about it!!!

Beers and 20 quid on pump three!!
How good would it have been if beer came from the petrol pump!!!

The diiiirty b*stards
Had it confirmed to me today what a ping pong show was (I did have my suspistions) I'll send Nick to one next year (planning a trip to Thailand this time next year) and tell him its something to do with table tennis.
