Any reccomondations of 4WD tour groups from Uyuni heading on the traditional southwest circiut? Or any Definatly nots!
Im going to arrive in Uyuni next week and I wanted to do some extra research into tour groups before putting my safety into others hands in this barren wilderness!
Reply to this Hi Casey, it's been a while ago, march last year, but i did the Uyuni tour the other way around from San Pedro de Atacama to Uyuni with Cordillera tours. They are Bolivians with offices in both cities. I can recommend them, good food, you stay one night in a salt hotel, good jeeps. Only our driver was new so he didn't explained us that much about the sigths but he drove safely. I think they are mentioned in LP as well. Anyway, we had a really good time and from the San Pedro sight it was about 90 USD. Maybe it's cheaper in Bolivia? Ask around and maybe negociate a bit, especially when you are with more than one.
