Hi everyone,

I had a couple of questions about visiting Morocco:

1. I only speak English and some Spanish. How difficult will it be to get around without knowing French or Arabic in Marrakesh or Casablanca?

2. How safe is it to travel to these areas as a female traveling alone?

Yes you can get around in big cities in Morocco with English. Some small cities as well. You will be fine traveling around. Just don't go with anybody in a private car. Take only taxis that have signs on them. Reply to this

From my understanding the official taxis have red license plates... someone may need to verify for certain. Reply to this

No that is not true
In casablanca taxis are red with regural license plates. In Marrakesh are kind of dark beige Reply to this
