What should i pack for gorilla trekking. I am going to trek gorillas in both Volcanoes National Park and Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.

I will be heading for a 10 days long safari in Africa. I am visiting both Uganda and Rwanda and will track gorillas in both destinations. I have spent a lot on booking this trip because permits alone cost me ($2100 - $1500 for Rwanda and $600 for Uganda).

Has any one gone for such experience before? Has any one used a company called <snip> before? Any help will be highly appreciated.

But why spend all that on permits? You could track gorillas in different sectors of Bwindi. bwindi has four sectors i.e: Buhoma, Ruhija, Rushaga and Nkuringo. Two gorilla encounters will cost you $1200 only. I suggest you arrive through Rwanda and trek gorillas in Bwindi. You can read more about such trips here: http://ugandatravelblog.com/travel-ideas/gorilla-trekking-in-uganda-from-kigali-rwanda/ and probably book with this operator. Reply to this
