Travelling alone in South america! looking for similiar travellers have bit craic!!
Hi All,
Im organising a trip to South America, icorporating Brazil , (Rio, Sao Paulo,Iguaza Falls) , Argentina, (Iguaza, Resestentia, maybe via Asuncion in Paraguay with view heading south to Buenes Aires via Rosario ) or something like that!!!
Also then will fly to La Paz or Lima with a month and halfspent between mostly Peru and to lesser extent take in main aspects of Bolivia!!
Im going to be travelling alone and would like to hear from anyone in similiar boat!!
Im 25 male from ireland thinking it would be great to catch upwith anyone who has ideas of travelling aroundwhat I hope to do above!
Let me know if you would fancy catching up and enjoying some parts south america !!!

Just proves my organisational skills are not the may best and catching up with anyone would obviously be a major help! haha
Reply to this between august and november, i will be going through possibly a little bit of peru.... then back to venezuela, the guayanas, coast of brazil, down through para and uraguay then finishing in BA.... so if you wanna meet at some point along there then i'm def game!!!!

Jut seen your reply! Im booking my flights in the 2nd week of january! at this stage i am not 100 % sure whether fly into lima and work my way down and across or work my way across from say rio for example.! I should know for sure in the next teo weeks, still waiting to finalise! will let ya know! Im destined for BA myself so hopefully our itieraries wil matvh at some stage! where ya from?
Reply to this I'm in the same boat you are and was JUST thinking about this exact topic when I saw your post. And the dates correspond perfectly with my own. I'm planning on doing a three month stint in Central and S. America. So far, I'm planning on doing some Spanish school in Costa Rica, a camping tour through Peru, some wwoofing in ???. Regardless, I'll be wandering around down there and can't find anyone to wander with. Mayhaps our paths will cross. I'll keep the post updated as my plans become more finalized.

I'm afriad I'm not travelling till this time next year and am hitting asia first, I'm from Ireland myself and am heading off to the big bad world alone and am booking my RTW ticket in the next month or so, I want to feature S. America in my trip, but am a bit weary travelling alone there and also am concerned that seeing it will be the last leg of my trip that I won't have enough moula!
Would be dying to hear how you get on, keep me posted if you wouldn't mind and let me know what you think.
I'll be flying into San Diago and will want o be making ,my way to Lima to see the Inca trails and I also want to visit the galapacos islands too, the only problem is that to get my final flight I'll have to make my way to Mexico and am concerned about how dangerous it will be on my lonesom and as I said the money thing.

Have you booked your trip yet? Im travelling to Chile then to argentina and brazil from 4 august for about a month. Let us know if you are there around that time.

Not travelling now probably until Late Dec early Jan and still not sure about S. America, dont think I'll have the cash to do it this time.
Cant wait to go though. What other travel are you doing?
