Renting Apartment in Chile

My boyfriend and I are in Peru right now but we will be heading to Chile in the next month or so. We would love to rent a place at or near the beach for a month or so. Has anyone done this or have any suggestions about how to go about finding a place? Any suggestions would be appreciated!
