Work With Infants and Toddlers

Big hugs, toothless smiles, bright coffee-nut eyes beaming "love." Their struggles are many... poverty, disabilities, and even homelessness. But you can make a lasting difference in these young lives. amiracity Volunteers works with needy infants and youth in west africa. You can care for physically- and mentally-disabled children, some who have been abandoned, and "at-risk" teens. Often no special skills are required, as volunteers are needed to listen to, play, read, exercise and share time with the children. Many of our host organizations are short-staffed and the volunteers' attention gives the children the extra love they need....... Health Care Volunteer Services

Our in-country staff and host partners match your abilities with local work projects. Health care professionals are needed to provide patient care to impoverished children and their parents. Because access to medical services in developing communities is often limited, health-care volunteers are needed to provide basic services such as diabetes screenings, tooth extractions, well-baby checks and pre-natal exams in local clinics, village dispensaries, and in homes through outreach programs. While the needs and the working conditions are very basic, your 'hands-on' contribution can be life-changing. It's very helpful if you can bring donated medical supplies. You can do this! ........
