Hi guys,
I am finally ready to do my own personal trip of a life time and I want to invite a few hardy souls along with me.
When I was working as a guide in the jungle in Peru I wanted, badly, just to follow the river through the jungle, just going with the flow, all the way to the Atlantic. Since working in the Tambopata Jungle Reserve for 8 months in 1998 I have built up some serious skills in the bush and am now ready
during next years dry season (hitting the river May/June 2008)
. to give it a go.
Just a quick warning
it will take about 6 months and cost approx £3000 (that is from ‘door to door’
. flights, insurance, food, accommodation, guides, canoes, etc).
I have put together a nice info pack ready to E mail to people who are ready to travel from the Pacific coast in Peru, over the mountains, into Brazil, then down many miles of river to the Atlantic.
Please just drop me an E mail address to get the first of many info packs
. I have to make loads of info packs due to the many questions you’ll have, the route, my own CV/biography etc.
These info packs look nice and professional but I am just another traveller looking for buddies. I am not after payment for anything at all. You just spend money on things you need, nothing goes to me!
So
who’s up for several thousands of miles of canoeing through the Amazon?????
Drop me a line.
Cheers.
DB
