Hi All,
my name is Lela and I'm going to South America for 12 months to teach English and yoga in 9 orphanages in 9 different countries from the end of Jan'11.
My charity adventure starts in Peru' and then Bolivia, Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Guatemala, Costa Rica and finally Mexico.

I'm starting in Peru' and then moving to Santa Cruz (Bolivia) in March 2011 and I would like to live with a Bolivian family rather than staying in a hostel.
Can someone recommend me a family that will be happy to have me in Santa Cruz before I fly to Buenos Aires
please ?
I'm happy to pay them, help the kids with their homework and cook them some delicious Italian food too :-).
I speak 4 foreign languages including Spanish, I'm friendly and affectionate.

Can someone help me please ?

Hello, After contacting one of the TravelBlog forum members I am wondering if other people could tell me their opinion about the following. In January I am going to Colombia. I am willing to go to Leticia, but I am struggling about according to the safety. I dont know how close the Farc or other rebels will be. I have been told they are in the Amazon, but it\\\\\\\'s big.
