Just need a little advice! Columbia to Patagonia and back in 3 months.
Hi, my friend and I are flying into Cartegena early December and have a return flight home early March.. Basically just a 3 month trip. We are very eager to at least get down to Patagonia and see a little bit of it.. we are just worried we might not have enough time? Does anyone with experience think its possible to make it down there and back to Columbia in 3 months time? We really dont want to just rush through as we are very excited to see Ecuador, Peru, and Bolivia as well but we really want to make it to Patagonia. Any advice from anyone would be greatly appreciated! Even if its to say we are being completely naive.
Thanks,
Steven
Reply to this The trouble is that you are starting at the top of the continent and going to the bottom. You want to see some of Colombia, Perú, Ecuador and Bolivia, but Patagonia means entering either Chile or Argentina. The LAN airpass would have been a good option due to your multiple destinations and distances but you have flights booked, presumably not with LAN. Check if you can do the airpass anywayas you may be using a oneworld partner airline. I think there is also a oneworld airpass. If an airpass is not in your budget, then I can't see how you can do all those countries overland in the time, especially as you are returning to Colombia to fly home.
