DRUGGED IN BOLIVIA - BE CAREFULL

WARNING TO TRAVELERS TO SOUTH AMERICA
13 years ago, July 22nd 2010 No: 1 Msg: #116287
I would like to send out a warning to travelers in south America, i was unfortunately drugged in my room and had most of my possessions stolen from me, my laptop, credit cards, money, phone, and clothes disappeared.

When i woke up in the morning there were just a few clothes on my floor with my big backpack, a girl i was sharing a room with, drugged me by putting a sleeping pill in my drink the night before
She basically took everything even removing my socks to check if i was hiding something.

So i was in Santa Cruz, Bolivia with nothing, i had no money, so i had to ring home on skype and get my parents to send through some money through to western union and still i was still affected by the drugs which had not worn off.

I ask you that this is now a common problem in south America especially in Santa Cruz, its very easy there is lots of types of drugs and so many different tricks how they can get you.

This is for all travelers single, male, female, couples, it can happen very easily, very quick, and not by people you expect, i was in south america for one year and nothing happened to me then this happened and i lost everything.

Please go to this website and read a article about these drugs and methods they use.

I wish you all the safest travels i love South America but be careful

Elliot, that is a terrible thing to happen to you. I remember your earlier posts when you were planning your trip. I think everyone needs to read up on all possible dangers, not so they get paranoid but so that alarms go off in their head when certain situations arise. Even if what happened to you may not be common, it is out there. Reply to this
