Concluding 2 weeks in Kenya & Tanzania,,several hour to wait for KLM, ....wondering about booking day room in Arusha..Suggestions please

Much appreciated...I spoke with my travel agent in Toronto last May..She booked day room at Serena Mountain Village Arusha...looks like it is quite a bit further away with some potential delays as you mentioned -----your advice will get us moving out earlier with time to spare to catch KLM flight

Arusha is about 45 mins away. The traffic in Arusha can be bad at times. Equal distance from the airport is Moshi to the east. the town is a easier to get around and very tourist friendly. In the future, a day room in Moshi is a better idea. Kilimanjaro Airport is not large and there is nothing to do there so avoid going too early. Safari njema. Reply to this
