Hi all,

I am planning a trip to Morocco during the last week of March and would like to go surfing for part of the time. Does anybody have any recommendations/suggestions on where to go for surfing and who to go with? I have found a company called Moroc Surf http://morocsurf.com/

Anyone know anything about them or have other suggestions?

Thanks for your help!

Hi Lomi:
I have been traveling to Morocco for many years and can tell you the town of Essaouira, on the Atlantic coast, is the surfing center of the country. It is about a 3 1/2 hr. drive west from Marrakech. Your best bet it to go there and talk with the small companies offering surfing on the spot. I've tried contacting them via email and it never worked. Some don't have websites. People I've sent to Essaouira have had the best success either going directly to the beach areas and/or asking their hotels or riads for help.
Good luck, and good surfing!
