The lowest quote i have found is £450 but this sounds very expensive. How much can i expect to pay if i turn up to Lima airport in the summer and book last minute?
Reply to this Are you refering as Rio, for Rio de Janeiro...because than you speak of a international flight...between Peru and Brazil. You are looking for a return isn't it....than for sure turning up at the airport is not a good choice. The cheapest i could find with 2 or 3 clicks is 400 pounds with Copa through Panama.
There is a direct flight with TACA to Rio...if not, you can take LAN, either Lima-Sao Paolo-Rio, or Lima-Santiago-Rio or Lima-Buenos-Aires-Rio.
Bear in mind that the flight is around 5 to 6 hours if my calculations are correct...so with the lack of competition, it will not go much cheaper. Better book really long time ahead than last minute. Not that many flights either!
