You could fly on Lan Chile or Aerolineas Argentinas. Once you are in El calafate you could book a tour at one of the hostels to go to PM. It is absolutely magnificent and a must see. Depending on how many days you stay in the area you could also take a bus and go to El Chalten. It is +- 1 hour from Calafate and here you can hike and enjoy the beauty of Patagonia.
