I'm going for a short trip to Bogota next week. Usually whenever I visit a city, I always visit any book store and CDmusic store. I just love to see the stuff there, and usually I buy something interesting although I don't really understand the language.
Can anybody recommend some book stores who have a good collection of English books? I'm also looking for some CD stores/ DVD stores who also have good collection of music/ movies. It doesn't have to be English music/movies, cause I'm open to any foreign music and movies.

Hi, in any Bogota Mall exists at least 2 or 3 cd/book stores (Unicentro, Andino, Gran Estacion...) each ones with good stuff of colombian music and world music, one of my favorites cd store is Tango Discos located in Hacienda Santa Barbara Mall (nice place).

thank you very much, Fernando! I will definitely go to the places you recommend. BTW is there any Colombian jazz artist you can recommend (if any)? I'm also looking for Ivan Lins albums. I think he's not Colombian, but I do hope his cds are avail there Reply to this

Well... i'm not really involved with the jazz music, but i know that a lot of people here enjoy jazz music, even a internationa jazz festival is showed every year (it was the last month)
