if you're doing a loop of the continent is it easier to go one way than the other? does it make any difference?

so, a fairly fundamental question for my itinerary. should i go clockwise or anti-clockwise??

most of the blogs/guidebooks/etc talk about doing the trip in a clockwise direction, but is there any reason for this?? do most people tend to travel in one direction??

cheeeeeeers 😊

I did it anti-clockwise and met as many people going both directions. Rio right down to Ushuaia up to Cusco and down to Santiago. Check which way the weather suits you! Reply to this
