Hey Mell, I'm going to be in Uruguay sometime around November as well! What are you doing while you're there? Do you know any cool places to go there? I'm going through there as I travel from Argentina to Brazil, and I don't know too much about it. I've heard it's very clean and nice though and I wouldn't mind spending a week poking around. Sorry - I know it's off topic, maybe PM me back!!

Yeah, we can meet for coffee or something like that, if you want and if I am in S. America at the same time as you are. I am planning to travel down the coast of Brazil from Sao Paulo, and then I will stay in Puanta De Diablo for a few days, before making my way back up the coast of Brazil. Unfortunately, I only have 2 weeks in S. America. Wish it was longer, but family responsiblilities.... I am starting to have fantasies about just taking off and travelling for months at at a time. 😊

Here are threads I made when I was planning the trip. Those will give you some idea of what I am going to do. I am not much of a tourist, so only sometimes go to the main tourist attractions. What I love most about travelling is the feeling of being in a particular country. I generally dont need anything more than that, to feel my trip is worthwhile.
