Hi guys, I was wondering if anyone could give tips on the area - where to go (and where to avoid), what to see, where to stay, what kit to take and how to get around. Planning a minimum of four months with definite trips to Botswana, Namibia, South Africa and Zambia, with options of going to Malawi and Mozambique as well.

Any information would be gratefully received!!

Thank you!!

I would say a couple nights camping in the Okavango Delta, a river cruise on the Chobe, and a visit to Kruger should all be regarded as absolute requirements. Getting around can be difficult but there are numerous overland companies that cater to your route. If you don't want to do an organized tour, I would suggest maybe looking for a travel companion, as these distances can be VERY vast. Reply to this
