Travelling up from Manaus into Venezuela, then onto colombia. Which places are 'must-do's and is angel falls worth going in march (dry season)

Coming up from the south of venezuela, wondering if there are any places i must see. And also is it worth heading over to trinidad port of spain and the costs. Also i have heard you need US dollars in venezuela otherwise you get ripped off.. is this true..

Please let me know your thoughts or any ideas orsites will be much appriciated.

Any good tour operators to see angel falls and prices..
