Hi all,
I'm going to Torres del Paine in March and would really appreciate some advice.
How hard is W trek? I'm averagely fit and realize i'll need to prepare myself for this trip but i'd like realistic opinions from people who did the trek.I heard different stories from different people
Thanks
Dorota
Reply to this It's not too difficult a trek though it can be tougher if you carry extra gear for camping, cooking etc. You hike about 70 or 80 km (can't remember exactly) in 5 days, but there's no altitude problems and not too much ascent/descent. It's probably easier if you sleep/eat in the refugios, but this works out more expensive. We carried all our own food, tent, sleepign bags, etc but it was still not too tough a trek.
