Ukraine... Truly a country like no other. For seventy years hidden behind the Iron Curtain this Sleeping Beauty suddenly arose with a new breath of life, throwing off the tyranny of her past oppressors and proudly proclaiming herself as the worlds newest democracy.
For the tourist, the openness and warmth of the Ukrainian people is unmistakable. The cultural diversity is refreshing, leaving your senses of life, of humanity, broadened and enlightened. Ukraine's people are as curious about you, as you are about them. After all, it's been in near total isolation for a very long time.

Reply to this Hello everyone. I'm new to this forum, but I'm just dying to tell you about this place I've been to recently 😊
During my vacation, I've decided to take my family to Kyiv, Ukraine to visit a new country and to see why my asian friends are so in love with that city. And I wasn't disapointed!
It is known that Kyiv gave birth to the whole Slavic society, it was the centre of the medival Europe. Is has beautiful parks, ancient churches and breathtaking historical areas. My friend Jaime told me that visiting Kyiv during the spring of 2011 was one of the most priceless expirience of his life. I've listened to his words quite mistrustfully, but now I'm totally falling in line with him. That was just perfect.
P.S. I case any of you are wondering about the easiest way to see those wonderfull places and make sure you won't miss anything, I recommend you to contact <snip> Good luck 😊
