im planning to go to san pedro de atacama tonight (in la serena now) and heard that there is a jeep tour that leaves from san pedro, goes through the salt flats, and ends in uyuni.
can anyone confirm this?

then from uyuni there is apparently a train that goes to lapaz?
any info on this? how much?
also, are there bus companies i should use and NOT use when in bolivia?
(id like to avoid ones that use the roof for bag storage)
