It was very good. They are quite expensive, but I can highly recommend them. They have a beautiful lodge about 50km outside of Iquitos, with showers and flush toilets etc. Be careful about going with any Shaman, or person that claims to be a shaman. Hope you make it there! jrok ted demen Post Count: 44 Msg: #3 91 weeks ago, June 19th 2008 | thanx for the advice, appreciate it. | Pkdeboer1973 Paul de Boer Post Count: 7 Msg: #4 91 weeks ago, June 19th 2008 | Hi, | Check out the articles and website of Peter Gorman http://www.pgorman.com I went with him for a tour in 2006, and it was awesome. (see some of my pics: http://www.pauldeboer.net/iquitos/index.html) He does a few tours a year, he takes you far from the city, and you can also see the Matses indians, and use their Sapo frog poison and nu-nu tobacco snuff. In july there is a big ayahuasca conference in Iquitos and afterwards Peter organised a jungle trip which was not that expensive. There are also other centres around the city where you can learn about shamanism. Have fun! Number of Users: 3 | Number of Posts: 4 | ||||||||||||
