Attached is a photo of the view from breakfast! How amazing.

Emma has mild altitude sickness and so had an unsettled night. But I'm sure will have a chance to climatise. We are still taking it slowly as the air doesn't really allow you to do much else. The rest of the group leave London today.

Hope you're all well. It's still morning here and I'm back in bed as we get up slowly and despite the gorgeous sun shine it's freezing!! Such a shame as I have loads of clothes I could have bought. Seemingly my very expensive specialist light weight top which should be warm enough isn't!!

Emma and I are climbing Machu in Peru....but just not together! Emma is doing it in 5* luxury and will meet me for the final ascent as she has had a series of mishaps in her training...... It will be the longest time we've spent together. That along with the flight and climb is going to be challenging. Not sure which part will be the most. Will we make it to the top?
