The world famous Nazca lines! The best way to see them I am told is by private plane. While wheeling in the sky, you can take that perfect picture to treasure forever in your scrapbook of memories.

However, if you don't have the cash to lay out for a plane or if you are a knucklehead and left your only ATM card back in the last town (see next post), you can always climb a rickety tower and view a couple of them for 75 cents. My dad was fond of the saying "It doesn't cost any more to go first class, you just can't stay as long!" Well, we do want to stay longer so choices have to be made.

It is really amazing how many experiences you can have on the road for a dollar or two. Learning to be satisfied with what you have is something that has been a deep and good lesson for me on the road.
