It is not fair that agencies that have so many problems with local communities promote places like Isla del Sol. We think is dangerous for the passengers because any time a riot could happen.
I'm very concerned about trips that are beeing published in different Travel Agencies in England. I planned a speciall trip with my family to Bolivia and we were very dissapointed when we got to Lake Titicaca and stayed in the Isla del Sol, not only because the Agencies promote this place as a "Hotel", but really was a lodge, where have no access to hot water, the rooms are very cold and to make things even worse there is some people that distribute a copy of a news paper from May of this year in which the community is complaning about the companies that own hotels there. According to them those companies invaded this beautiful island years ago. They are trying to recover what they claim belongs to them and we think it is very unfair to take advantage of the people this way, specially beacause they are really poor and are beeing deceived.

We are only publishing this information because we are concerned about all the other people that want to have a good time when traveling. Bolivia is a beautiful country, but as travelers we have the right to know the real facts of the agencies.
