Merida Day 2.

Paragliding ia a popular activity here, and lots of travel or tourist
shops sell half a day packages. At cost of 60 dollar you can experience
flight at 3 thousand feet elevation. However do not recommend it with
a hangover, and if you try it, you must be willing to be completely
terrified in the first five minutes.

THe trip includes a 1 hour trip in a jeep
to the launching area, a hill at 3 thousand feet near merida. The view overlooks
the surrounding farms and small villages and adjascent mountains.
Shared the trip with a freindly Dutch couple trvelling in Venezulea.
