More site seeing, souvenir shopping, markets, beach and family time...
Jos and I have hit the beach as often as possible, we are looking very brown!!!!
My lovely cousin passed on some threatre tickets to a ballet production of Swan Lake at the uruguayan Opera House...An unforgettable night once AGAIN!
Christmas has come and gone with a very emotional time for all of us , who knows when I´ll spend christmas in Uruguay again...
Jos went off with all the fire works at midnight, he stocked up before hand.
By midnight the whole city goes to the streets and lets off their fire works!! The noise and colours of it all, we´ll never forget!
Then it was on to eating traditional uruguayan bbq meal ´asado´ and more traditional drinks.
By 5am it was all over, we were as full as piggies and as drunk as skungs!!!
Back on the following day for a late lunch and left overs and more of the same....
Very different Christmas as the ones we spend in Oz.
Time has come to say good bye once again....
It´s never easy, it probably hurst even more this time but I know we´ll come back
one day!!!
OFF TO OUR NEXT ADVENTURE................
