Early out of bed and off to Schiphol. That was the start of a four year adventure in South America. After using a lots of time with check-in and trying to get a tax-free stamp for some stuff we wanted to bring, there was only a little time left for spotting at Amsterdam-Schiphol, before boarding flight KL743 to Lima, Peru. Flight was operated Boeing 777-200 PH-BQO, and I had a very comfortable flight in seat 3J. Yep, you are right, didn’t pay myself.

After almost 13 hours of flying we arrived Lima - Jorge Chavez Int'l after a beautiful descent over the Andes Mountains. It was only around 16:00lt so I had some time to note down a few frames before continuing to La Paz, Bolivia later in the evening. I stayed in the international terminal all the time so I had no views of the military ramps, and it many Mil helicopters and other bits and pieces. Also most of the stored stuff was not identified as I only saw it while landing. From the terminal you have a good view at part of the runway, arriving and departing aircraft could easily be until around 19:00lt were it became to dark. Seen during the stay were:

At 2130lt we left Lima on flight TA035, operated by TACA Peru’s Airbus A320 N488TA.
On arrival at La Paz - El Alto around two hours later it was very dark, and nothing was identified.
