So, off to Puno then. We had yet to receive a positive comment about the town itself from people we had met, however Puno was the jumping off point for the famous floating islands and also to see the islands of Amantani and Taquile, so we decided to come anyway. Hi, Welcome to our blog. Having completed a 9 month trip to the US, Australia and SE Asia in 2005, we were truly bitten by the travel bug.
