I'm enjoying the ambiance here in Cusco...and the street food is amazing! Truly a photographer's dream, but really, any town that has those striking terracotta roofs and narrow cobblestone streetways already gets my big stamp of approval. On almost every street corner, little old gals in their brightly colourful petticoats and round bowlers sell their wares, or offer up steaming pots ... Read Full Entry

Perfect timing!
Hola Liliram! Thankyou for your lovely comments. October-end of dry season-the weather in Cusco/MP was wonderful!! and milder than say Arequipa/Chivay. Don't pack too heavy, as you can always buy yourself a nice alpaca sweater or get a rain parka if needed. I wish for you to make this fantastic trip too!

I re-reading many of your blogs today and having a wonderful time.
We went to Peru in 2003 and had a marvelous time. Your blog and photos have brought back some wonderful memories. We weren't blogging back then. From time to time I think about writing that blog but have not done so yet. I love the photo of you with the condor. Have you decided where you are going this summer? islands? Russia?
