I did the Classic Inca Trail, 4 days 3 nights with a Peruvian company called Q´ente. The trek starts at Kilometre 82 we then walk the 36Km to Macchu Picchu (the full Inca Trail actually starts in Cusco). You're playing for sympathy in Day 2, but in Day 3 http://img1.travelblog.org/Photos/9550/32841/t/169636-Day-3--More-Views-0.jpg we can clearly see the cable-car wires in the picture. You just rode up didn't you? Go on, admit it, no-one would be silly enough to walk a load of books up MachuPicchu. :-) Seriously, the pictures are marvellous. Wow. Rob

Rain!!!
Ey up chuck! Having looked at your pictures it looks very different to when we did the Trail back in May! I agree with Day Two - Dead Woman's Pass almost did make me a dead woman!!! Very aptly named I thought! Keep enjoying - I'm home in 3 weeks!

There err, electricity pilons I tell you!
Its true no normal person (in their right mind!) would take a small library and ton of electronic equipment on a trek. (just worked out how to leave comments!)

Great to see your photos Nick, really brings back the pain and glory of that second day. Why I have my eyes shut in all of them is anyones guess. Great socks ... they were even brighter in real life. We are in Ushuaia now , it´s great down here. Keep in touch, Laura
