Travel to Cusco

We have had smooth travel overnight and today. DFW to Lima was a 7 hour flight. We had no issues with immigration or customs and made our connection in Lima for our flight to Cusco easily. The flight from Lima to Cusco was beautiful. A taxi from the airport to Palacio del Inka. Excellent service at check-in while we relaxed with mate de coca (herbal tea). Elevation in Cusco is 10, 825 feet. So far no signs of any altitude sickness. We will be taking it easy the rest of the day.
