Cusco was the Inca capital and marks the beginning of the tour's Inca explorations. Cusco is also the gringo capital of Peru, with a huge array of nightlife and western style restaurants. Also a huge array of spruikers on the street, the words No Gracias are muttered constantly when traversing the main plaza. The gang buckled in for a tour to a local Sacsayhuaman, Animal Farm, Sacred Valley and Ollantaytambo. The ruins are a great way to start the journey to Machu Piccu, with a number of 1 hour walks preparing people’s biped capabilities.
