yesterday i took guided trip about the laguna mojando, a series of three lakes in a volcanic crater. hiked around the smallest one then hiked up Pua Pua, a twin set of peaks above the laguna. today i took bus south from otavalo, transferred in quito and am now in Latacunga which is the departure point for tours into cotopaxi national park, dominated by the active volcanoe of the same name. I´ll try to book a tour into the laguna quilota, a crater lake, and also to climb volcan cotopaxi. some photos are attached for your perusal.
