i´m pointing out puau puau, a peak i climbed overlooking the lago padre. pretty steep climb, but muy bueno vista from el alto.

yesterday i took guided trip about the laguna mojando, a series of three lakes in a volcanic crater. hiked around the smallest one then hiked up Pua Pua, a twin set of peaks above the laguna. today i took bus south from otavalo, transferred in quito and am now in Latacunga which is the departure point for tours into cotopaxi national park, dominated by the active volcanoe of the same name.
