On a clear day, you don´t see the sky. You see Chimborazo. A brute of earthy ice, forging its way to the heavans . No snowy peak here, but a creamy avalanche suspended in time, beaten white to blue, held with what must be a whole continent of muscle. More of the view I hear you ask? To the left of the porch, stands two jack and the bean stalk bumps.. breast-like in their togetherness, seemingly protecting onlookers from a world beyond. Rotating ahere shows hazey, soft, peaks out in the distance. Sporadic clutches of buildings.. "In distinct wails, dogs bark, donkeys braying.." There is a man, who offers his services for a fair price (maybe the noise polluntion is not), to communicate messages through a microphone adorned atop his car, spewing randomness throghout the day.. I get about as far as buenos dias and then non.sensical.mess

Sitting out here the goliath of Chimberazo (3,967.1 mi) is cloaked, either side and closer to me, dwarfed on a clear day are two monstourous beasts, one of which is 5000 meters plus, jagged as the sun rays through hairline crack in your acid haze. Now I come to, well.. lets not bore you with the details, cept I´ll just mention the rolling hill after rolling hills. A multi coloured patchwork, every type of green to yellow inbewteenssscContinuously plotted and harvested by these indigionous folklore of a people. To a God Unknown.

Upon climbing up & out of bed wading through the laundry, acending the outside stairs, blinking forgetfully at the space 180 degrees around me.

Falling into that space.. It took me weeks just to stop missing a heartbeat. Still now (todavia a´hora) with clear sky, (as often they are a thirsty mist hovering infront of you.. at 2,800 meters things are rarely above you) when Chimborazo has opened belly, it does and I shall guess, always will take my breath. Its impossible to take in, only look upon in wonder, monstourous energy impossibly captured by person and fathoms less by machine.
