The Whole Crew
Thats me in the sunglasses! and the rest of the LA gang having lunch at some upscale restaurant in Bogota!
Our friends in Bogota, Daniel and Alejandra picked us up. We checked in at the Casablanca Hotel
Casablanca Hotel which is near the Zona Rosa area. its a very nice hotel, in a very nice area. The staff was very friendly. Its about $35 USD per night. I highly recommend this place. Its walking distance from restaurants, banks, and shops.
We unpack and got ready for the night while Daniel and Alejandra waited for us in the lobby. We took a taxi to Zona Rosa. Wow, this place is amazing! There were so many trendy restaurants, bars, clubs. It reminded me of the Sunset Strip in Los Angeles but better. We ate this very popular American theme hamburger joint called La hamburgueseria and met up with more friends of Daniel and Alejandra. We decided to go to the Gavanna Club
As soon as I walked in, I thought I was in a Hollywood club. it was very upscale, the laser

The DJ played Spanish music, techno and a lil bit of American hip hop. We were all taking shots of Aguardiente and party all night long! The Colombians do know how to party and happy to show travelers a great time!
Next day we slept in late. For lunch, We went to this very upscale Bogota Restaurant. I forgot the name of the place, it was located upstairs and we sat out in the patio. I had Bandeja Paisa a very popular dish in Colombia. Very delicious! We went on and explore Bogota. Later on that night, we went to a shopping mall in Bogota with our friends Daniel and Alejandra and played pool. Next day.... off to Medellin.............

Hi my friend im so glad that people like you show the world how beautiful is colombia, i live in Boston MA, im a colombia citizen and a havent been able to go for some reason im hopping to go this summer of 2007.. im taking some people that i work with they are all americans.. jejeje i want to to the same thing that you did... thanks paz..
