La Serena & Caldera

Soooooo, wir haben grade noch ein bissi zeit (nein, eigentlich viel), bis unser Bus nach Atacama in die Wueste geht 😊
Also, hier die letzte Tage:
Haben in La Serena unsere erste Couch Surfing Experience gemacht und muessen sagen, das war echt SUPER!!! Hatten ein eigenen Zimmer und Schluessel und sind sogar zum Essen eigeladen worden! 😊 Das erste richtige Essen seit Tagen! MMMMMHHHHH... Echt ein Traum, vor allem weil ma uns doch meistens von Toast und Kaese ernaehren (in der Frueh, zu Mittag und am Abend-ja ka Scherz). Aber Gott sei dank moegen die Maxi und ich das beide recht gern udn sind da net so heikel bei der Auswahl... zumindest daweil noch!
Als Gegenleistung haben wir aber mit unserem Gastgeber, Gonzalo, das Chile-Kolumbien Spiel auf Leinwand angeschaut... Wir sind zwar keine grossen Fussball Fans, aber: VIVA CHILE!!!!! Die Party Stimmung, die wir dan hatten wurde aber durch die chilenische zuerst-essen-dann-feiern-und-zwar-spaet tradition zunichte gemacht und als die zu feiern anfingen, waren wir schon wieder muede.... aber macht nix, wir haben ja noch genug zeit!!!! hehehe
Ansosnten gibts aber in La Serena nicht so viel, also wollten wir gleich weiter.... war nicht so einfach wie gedacht, weil wir ja geld, zeit und fahrtzeit (nachdem chile ja nicht so klein ist) bedenken mussten. Also viel die Wahl auf Caldera.... gesagt, getan! ......
....... Naja, oder auch nicht so: Die Dame am Schalter war irgendwie in Eile oder schwerhoerig und hat mein ´3mal schoen ausgesprochenes ´D´ ueberhoert... und uns ein ticket verkauft und sofort in den bus geschickt. War aber irgendwie eigenartig, dass das Meer immer rechts von uns war, wo wir doch an der Westkueste nach Norden fahren?!?!?!?! Carina, da stimmt was nicht - Schulterzucken - naja, wer weiss... nach weiteren 15 min noch mal: Carina, das is komisch, und das Oertchen da unten hab ich beim Herfahren schon gesehn! MMMMHHHHH.... schau mal mal aufs Ticket! OHA, da steht LA CALERA drauf! Wo, verdammt noch mal, is das jetzt wieder???? Also raus mit der Chile-Karte.... OOOPSS... kurz vor Santiago!? Da komm ma ja her!!!!! Nein, das geht so net, wir muessen hier raus.... und zwar sofort!!! Also das ganze noch mal dem Fahrer erklaeren... aber es gibt natuerlich keinen Ort mehr auf der Strecke, wo wir umsteigen koennten... nur halt an der naechsten Bushaltestelle irgendwo im Nirgendwo! Na schoen, wir haben ja keine andere Wahl und es ist erst Nachmittag.
So, da stehen wir also, in der Mitte der chlenischen Pampa am Highway und latschen auf die andere Strassenseite, wo Gott sei dank grad ein anderer Bus vorbeikommt den wir wild fuchtelnd aufhalten und der uns mitnimmt zurueck nach La Serena!!! (das ist das Gute hier, sie blieben immer stehn, aber wenn man in Not ist, ist das super!) 😊))
Also weiter im Text: Zurueck in La Serena war die ´nette´Dame am Schalter schon weg, also hat halt die an der Info unsere Únfreude´ (bei der wir mittlerweile nach viel Gelaechter waren) abbekommen. Hat aber nix geholfen, das Ticket kann man nicht umtauschen, aber wir koennens ja schriftlich einfordern!!!! HAHAHA, AUF SPANISCH???? Na, so gut is mein spanisch a wieder net! Danke!
Na dann, egal, suchen wir halt mal einen neuen bus.... was aber gar net so einfach ist an einem verlaengerten wochenende mit einem Montag als Feiertag. Nach langem hin und her haben wir immerhin einen Luxus-Klasse Bus nach Calama gefunden, den nemma!!!!! Besser als hier rumstehen! Aber bis dahin ist es noch eine Stunde, also dann gehen wir halt in die Shopping Mall gegenueber ins Internet... Auf halbem Weg faellt - GOTT SEI DANK - Carina ein, dass ja gestern Zeitumstellung war (1h VOR, was uns unser Gastgeber ja gesagt, wir aber natuerlich vergessen haben) UIUIUIUIUIUIUI.... das heisst, der Bus geht: JETZT!!!! und wieder zurueck! Na, kann sich irgenwer unsere Gesichter vorstellen, wenn wir DEN Bus auch noch versaeumt haetten? Wir wollen das gar nicht... 😊))
Naja, wir sind dann auch mit dem selben Bus noch weiter nach CALDERA gekommen und haben ein Zimmer gefunden, sind aber am naechsten Tag in ein schoeneres umgezogen, weil es auch von hier am naechsten Tag keinen Bus gegeben hat (Feiertag!) und wir einen am uebernaechsten Tag nehmen mussten...
Soweit also die erste ´Geschichte´der Backpackers 😊 und damit genug fuer heute! 😊


OK, we have a little time (actually a lot) until our bus to the Atacama desert leaves... so here is a story:
After our arrival in La Serena we experienced our first Couch Surfing and have to say: it was great! We had our own room and keys and even got invited for dinner (the best in days!!!) in return we watched the chile-colombia futbol game with our host and even though we are not the biggest soccer fans: VIVA CHILE! but we still had to pass on the party cause when we were in party mood, the chilenean people all went home after the game to eat etc... and by the time they started the party, our mood was gone and we were too tired... 😞(( anyway, we still have enough time to party. other than that there was not much to see in la serena, so we wanted to keep moving north and went to the bust station with our big and heavy backpacks 😞 ... we tried to get a ticket to CALDERA, but the woman there was stressed or deaf and didn´t understand me right. I even told her 3!!! times where we wanna go and she said, oh, there is a bus NOW!!! And she gave us the ticket, we ran to the bus and got in and started driving... and after 20 mins i said, carina, this is weird, the ocean is on the right... can´t be correct going north on a westcoast. she shook her shoulders and kept reading... after anohter 10 mins of thinking again... and: i saw the same little village i saw when we were arriving in La Serena... OHOH!!! We checked the tickets and it said LA CALERA!!!! now, WHERE THE HELL IS THAT???? checked the map and, OH NO, it´s half an hour before Santiago!!! Shit, we g the wrong direction!!!!!!!!!! So we went to the driver and told him... and they said, there is no other village on the way, but we can get out at the next busstation and go to the other side and go back to La Serena with any other bus that comes along 😉)))) So we were in the middle of nowhere at 2.30 in the afternoon and caught another bus that did come along (that is the good thing here, if u wave, they always stop and take u, and the busses are really good and safe).... anyway, we went back and wanted to talk to the lady who sold us the ticket, but she was gone, so we told the info-lady there that we were not that happy with this situation! But no, we can not just change the ticket, but we can send a letter !!! hahahahah, in spanish????? my spanish is not that good!!!! So, never mind, let´s find another bus, but no chance, they are sold, it was a national holiday today!!! pfffff.. we laughed and then were grumpy for a moment but then found a bus to the next bigger city, but only the luxury one... never mind, we took it instead of standing around there.... ok, so we had an hour to wait and wanted to go to the internet in the shoping mall nearby and started walking for 3 mins until carina says.... OH NO! we didn´t change our clocks!!!! imagine, our host told us to change the clocks 1 hour forward, but we forgot!!!!! WOW! So we turned around and just caught the bus!!! Can anyone imagine our faces if we would have missed that one??? 😊))))) We don´t want to!!! hehehe... anyway, we asked the busdriver if we can keep going with that bus to Caldera, it was just 1 hour more, and they stopped there and it was ok. So we arrived at midnight, and it´s nice here.. we found a hostel, not nice, but ok for 1 night and moved to a nicer one the next day! We went to the beach and it´s really nice, but soooooooo cold, and this people here go swimming!!! We were wearing our shirt, sweater AND fleece jacket AND the wind jacket!!! Can you imagine the temperature?
So, that is it for now.... hope you enjoyed the first ´backpacking´story 😊))))

Also da samma jetzt... mittn am Strand voll eingepackt aber echt schoen, wenns waermer waer! Naja die Chilenen lassn sich da net lumpen, die heupfen da halb nackat herum und gehn sogar ins Wasser... pui! Das habn die Maxi und i uns echt net vorstelln koennen...
so here we are, finally, on the beach, but it would be nice if it were a bit warmer.... we are using all our clothes but the chilenean people are wearing bathing suits and even go swimming!!!! brrrrr...

Wer auch imma das ist... keine Ahnung, steht aber oefters mal wo herum und kamma auch als Souvenir kaufen!

"Altersproblem"
Hey ihr 2 Weltenbummler! Mama und ich haben erst gestern entdeckt, dass ma mit "next entry" wieder Neuigkeiten von euch lesen kann - hihi, is wohl doch a bißl a Altersproblem des "Intanet". Aber in Zukunft wißmas jetzt. Klingt alles sehr spannend und interessant, wenngleich manchmal a bißerl spontan, was ihr treibt und wie ihr so reist - machts nur so weiter, eure Reiseeindrücke werden dadurch noch intensiver sein (trotzdem a bißi aufpassen auf euch) H&M
