Frenchies
My two favorite Frenchies, Thomas and Paul. Pictures from the last few weeks in Santiago... for the most part I've been busy partying and studying.
There was a little rocky time when I got robbed. Not cool. I left a bar at around 11pm with a bunch of friends, it wasn't in the best part of town but we were all together. For some reason I was walking about 10 or 15 feet in front of everyone; they stopped to talk and I kept walking. I didn't know they were so far behind and I turned the corner, 4 guys ran up and started pushing me around trying to get my purse (it was one of those purses that goes across your chest so it wouldn't break). I punched one of them in the face (and my ring broke so I know it must have hurt, go meee!!) but I think that wasn't the smartest idea; they got more aggressive and pushed me on the ground. Finally the strap of my purse broke and they ran away with my purse. The funny thing is; when something like that happens, you don't think, you just act- I was so full of adrenalin, I jumped up in my high
fiestaaa
After our night of pura cumbia! heeled boots and started running after them. HAHA. Well, after about 5 steps I realized that wasn't the smartest idea and my purse was long gone. I ran back to my friends, no one heard me yelling or anything. Malditos flaites de mierda!!!
So after waiting for my new credit card for about a month, it finally arrived! I threw it in my world's thinnest wallet and got on the bus to meet a friend. On the way home, the bus was packed and... get this... they DAY I GOT MY CREDIT CARD... I got pick pocketed. Qué suerte, eh? I told my roommates that they were lucky not to be home because I would have taken it out on any Chilean that I came across.
Anyways, I have officially bought my ticket back to San Diego, will be arriving the 14th of July! Yayy! I can't wait to see everyone!!!
P.S. I finally put pictures up from when Bridget and I went to Buenos Aires (one page back!).
