Belem

Belem was OK, Imet up with Rodrigo (New Zealand/Chilean guy I met in Recife hostel) in the HI hostel and went to a bar for a few beers as it was Happy Hour, with him and an Australian guy called Rodney. Got pretty wasted, had a pizza, then went out to a few other bars.

The following day we explored the town a bit, walked around the markets which was good, had some acai which was a lot different here and had some wicked fried fish. They had absolutely ebverything in these markets. We walked along the port area and visted some fortress, then went back to the hostel to get ready for our flight to Manaus.
