the awesome road into bolivia
Today started early as we really didn’t know what to expect as we were taking a dodgy back road and trying to get through at another Bolivian border. When we woke up Elle had had a rough night and was feeling nauseas so she lay up the front of the bus and slept. I was fine until 30mins into the bus trip and bam I felt horrible. It got worse and worse as the day went on and to make matters worse we were on the world’s most crazy and bumpy road. We very nearly fell off a cliff – so ppl tell us cos both didn’t want to move incase we were sick. So not a whole lot to report from today but thankfully El was feeling a bit better when we reached La Paz at about 7pm. I wasn’t at all an unfortunately was going to have to miss Death Road the next day.

Oh yeah so what actually happened with the border was that there really didn’t seem to be a border at all. We stopped at some little office and got the truck stamped out of Peru and then all of a sudden we started seeing Bolivian flags and were like ooook guess we’ve made it to Bolivia. We stopped at another little place that would stamp the truck into Bolivia but wouldn’t stamp us! So this was Fri and we were gonna have to be illegal immigrants for the next 3 days still we could go to the immigration office on Monday and get our stamps! Oooo livin life on the edge!!!! 
