One excited little lady
At 5am, yes my lips are blue, at the geisers- quiet possibly the most exciting natural wonder i´ve ever seen We rolled from the death pit that is Oruro onto Uyuni.
Arrr.... touring. Feel the excitment, get the emphasis and pump up the joy.
We arrived at Uyuni a mere 2hours before schedule, I'm glad I was asleep for most of that ride to NOT see how this particular Bolivian man drove.
Checked into a dive of a hostel, after I had an absolute phsyco at the man on the desk for taking wwwaaayyy to long to check us in at 3am after a 12hour bus drive. Sorry Abby..!!
Awoke the next morning at 6am, thinking, "of course all salt flat tours start at 7". No, No they actually kick off at 10. Were welcomed by Hugh, "excellent", ate breakfast and picked a tour company. Maybe, blame the lack of sleep, the non showering for 2 days, or the complete girlness of us (three bad guide expereinces, you'd think I'd have mastered it by now) but we managed to worm ourselves a guide who didnt speak English.. noR Spanish really. Tops! He and his wifey took us onto the salt flats, for what we can only guess was a tour, however everything we know comes
from the bwillant lonely planet.
Salt flats, a giant dried up salt lake- AMaZiNg. We spent a good few hours taking "those photos"
I'LL FINISH THIS SOON, LOOK AT PHTOS FOR NOW x
